  • Carol B. Thompson, MS MBA Carol B. Thompson, MS MBA (410-502-9142, cthompso@jhsph.edu) is a Research Associate in the Department of Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She received her B.A. in Mathematics from St. Xavier University (formerly College) in Chicago, IL, her. M.S. in Statistics from Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL, and her MBA from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. She has worked in industry (Eastman Kodak Company, General Dynamics Information Technology, Anteon Corporation, and Quality & Productivity Institute), in academia (Florida State University, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), and in research organizations (Desert Research Institute). As a member of the Biostatistics Center, Ms. Thompson’s work includes providing help with study design and statistical analyses for a variety of projects in the Schools of Public Health, Medicine, and Nursing. Her statistical experience includes work with regression and longitudinal modeling, principal component analysis, and survey analysis. Her experience with statistical software includes STATA, SAS and SPSS.
